I have been quoted for fitting of Polyair's to my Prado by two of the major names here in
Darwin and there is a $100 difference in the two quotes. Has anyone had experience in fitting them and if so how difficult for an old bloke who can still climb underneath but only just?
Or even a supplier here that is reasonably priced.

Mal,
check out Prado Point. There was a good write up (with photos) on
suspension replacements and air bag installation. Looks pretty easy

I fitted some Firestone airbags to my 80ser L'cruiser about three months ago. I am 71 and did not have any trouble. Took me five our though.
I also fitted a compressor for the airbags in the engine bay. That took me three hours as I had to make a bracket up and shift a few things around.
If you haven't yet bought you airbags try trucksprings.com They are in the US and are very quick on delivery, have all the parts required and give technical advice via e-mail and of cause quite cheaper than what you can buy in Australia.
