I chipped my 2000 3.0D EFI lux, not a turbo. Love the change. Though if I was spending most of my time on the highway I'd get another chip as all the increase is in the 1500 to 2500 rpm range, with the other brands the increase is in the highway criusing range. Can get much bigger boost if you have a turbo on it. Result, dyno test and dsicussion of the chip is at thread 59186

My last change before I, hopefully, prevent myself spending more money on it, is a rear soflocker or true trac, or if I get a great deal maybe even a true trac front and rear. Some people will go why would you bother but for what I do a mechanical LSD front and rear will probably be sooo much better than one full locker. And no I don't intend to get hung up in the air on rocks, its mud water and sand for me. So many things to think about so many opinions on so many forums ... depends on your driving and your offroad style ...

There's DP, Tunit and Morepower.

I got the Morepower cause I wanted the low down extra grunt. The other two tend to give the big increase at the upper end. Horses for courses. All round about the same prices. Have heard nothing bad about DP or Tunit, and morepower is too recent on the market to say.

Had it in for a month now, no issues, no black smoke, but don't drive it much so too early to say if any decent fuel saving.
