G'day all. Just back from Red Centre trip.
I know price rates change but thought following diesel prices might assist someone deciding where best to fill up etc. Accurate to within about 1 cent.
We used info on fuel rates to get home paying the least – rolled into
Coober Pedy, Pt
Augusta and
Adelaide either on empty or just about. These were the locations with the cheaper fuel prices as we headed home so filled up there only what we needed to get to the next cheaper location. Saved fair amount.

Port Augusta $1.89 (shell)
Pimba / Glendambo $2.13
(Yesterday)
Uluru $2.32
Erldunda $2.255
Kulgera $2.25
Marla Bore $2.22
Coober Pedy $1.97 (BP) – paid 1.935, on 8/7, at
Mobil near drive-in
(About 9/7)
Mt Dare $2.35

too right life goes on, which is why I thought it useful to post details of where fuel is priced high and low.
Every
park seems to be full each night and as we drove home south the amount of caravans / campers going north (from all states) was just overwelming. People definitely continuing to enjoy the good life......
