Well it seems he is moving again today but i am damned if i can see a track in some of the spots he is driving.

Yep the tracks are there.

Eg where he is now (39). Go to Satellite mode then zoom right in as far as you can see. The track is to the left ( East??) of the spot it goes around the edge of the lake to the previous spot. Ignore the lines connecting the locations, they are just as the crow flies.

Click on the black position indicator. That will show lat/long.

I've been mapping him on Ozi Explorer and he's on the Canning OK.
Right now (4pm Melb Tues) he's about 8km SW of Well 15.

I have found it a bit clearer using Google Earth. At an eye altitude of about 100miles, all the wells are marked. Gives a lot better idea just how remote this area is. Just enter his latest coords and zoom in.

At the end of the trip he can export his whole trip in Google Earth format.

Even though you can see only 24 hours. He can go and get 30 days worth.


This can be imported to Ozi or just run Google Earth.

May be worth asking him if you are interested.
