Hi Mike
I put a comment on trek notes.
we went up the 4wd coastal access track from
coral bay to drift loop & then
exmouth on 12/7/08.
u can cross, on low tide, then just before midday.
water was then axle deep.
sand still soft on the south side of the crossing.
the access track up was OK, few corrugations, plenty of people
camping.
good luck Tom

I just got back from
Ningaloo.
The signs on
Ningaloo Station show
Yardie Creek Crossing closed at present - though it is quite crossable, the
water was only about 6 inches deep. The southern back was soft but still passable mif you know what your doing.
When I arrived at Yardie
Creek, from the North, there was a Prado towing a T-Van stuck on the southern bank (trying to cross North to South). I had no problems crossing, recovering the Prado and Van then crossed back to the Northern side.
Leachy.

Mike give me your email address and I can tell you a few good spots that you will not have to pay, send to
my home email. I live locally and know that country
well.
Cheers
Mark
