Hello
I have a 1996 D/Cab 2.8l diesel hilux rigid front axle. It needs a VIV and RWC to get licensed here in VIC. It has non standard wheels/tyres on it that hang a little outside the front wheel arch. They are 15x8 with 31x10.5R15 tyres.
I would like to buy a set of standard rims/tyres that will get me registered in VIC and put the old ones back on. I need 16x5.5 steel rims with 205R16 tyres. Does anyone have a set going for sale or "rent" for a little while.
Also the tyre placard on the drivers side is faded and unreadable. where do a get a new one from. Have emailed Toyota, but if onyone has a good one can they take a reasonable good photo and send it to me, I shall knock up a copy and print a new sticker.
Thanks in advance.
Stu

Good idea, are the newer ones that are for hire a six stud or 5 stud bolt pattern? I thought the newer ones were 5's but I could be completely wrong.

not sure but if you go to the ' not so common ' rental joints until you see one and ask to hire it for half a day, and while your there swap the diff and fuel pump . its ye olde trick from way back
