I've been trying to get some 2nd hand split rims for my Patrol and there doesn't seem to be any out there. I thought that a lot of people got rid of them to put wider
wheels on and there should be heaps available. I can get them for the GQ and earlier but they have a different offset and so can't go on the same axle as the GU ones. There must be a reason, maybe everybody is going back to the split rims like Willem. Will have to keep trying.

Don't see many splits on Patrols. I'd guess its because they sell a lot more ST than DX, and Nissan offer you the $1000 factory option of upgrading to 265's. I'm also guessing than many split rims end up in metal recycling
bins.

I am not familiar with Patrol
wheels but if the only difference between GU and GQ is the position of the centres then it should be a simple matter for any custom wheel manufacturing company to move them.
That could be an option if you can't find any later ones.

There's no difference in the centres, the difference is in the offset and hence the track.
Thanks, Geoff

Where abouts in Qld are you? I have some in the shed that I think maybe off a GU, do you know the offset measurements?

Sorry for the delay. Measured the offset and it's 50mm. I live about 20km out of
Toowoomba. Need mud tyres here at the moment, 2 days of lovely rain.
Where are you located?
Thanks, Geoff

I will be unable to dig them out of the shed and measure them until the weekend, but I'm pretty sure they came off a GU tray back ute. I have 5 only one has a tyre. I'm on the sunshine coast.
