I know of Jayco and Goldstream having a range of off road pop top campers. Can anyone recommend any more companies.

Hi, Supreme, Galaxy, Boroma??, Coromal, Regent and Roadstar are the ones I know of. I can't 'recommened any one in particular though as I don't know much about the 'off road' side of things. I can tell you though that I own a Roadstar Voyager 1993 Pop Top and compared to our old 83 Viscount PopTop we used to own it is an absolute beauty. So you could say I am a little Roadstar Bias.....
Hope this helps?!
Cheers
Bek

Coromal also do a Pop top Camper, off road is a bit of a misnomer with all this group as they are more rated to dirt road. We have a Coromal off road camper and have no compliants with it especially with its slide out kitchen which allows more floor area when set up.

As far as 'camper trailers' go I think the Kimberly Kamper looks a bit swish.... they have a spot for everything even down to the tea towel!!!

Hi Disco,
Are they good units???
I'm not an off roader, I am a stay in the caravan
park with the family person... so I can't honestly tell you.
However, I have come across a few of them in my travels mainly the 'Kimberly Karavan' and the owners swear by them and I must say they have certainly caught me and my husbands attention. If we were to ever become serious off roaders we would look at Kimberly (I happen to have had a brouchure sent out to me just the other day)........
Check out www.victoriancampertrailers.com.au
as for price weeeelllll!!!! I suppose as the saying goes you get what you pay for. I think they are reasonably priced however if I were to purchase, I would do my homework first and compare.....

Thanks members for the extra options.
I understand the "off road" name these things carry can be a misconception. I am after a trailer that can drop into something like a flat in the High Country or a few hidden spots in the Flinders I got, so it's mainly the clearance the "off road" pop top campers offer. Once there the facilities are all at hand,
cook inside or out, sit inside or out and a quick & easy set up.

I am a little over the tent thing now with the family. By myself the 2 man tent is ok, but the Taj Mahal tent we have is just an energy sapper and then it's getting the gear and set up. I must be getting old :(
