Hi all,
As a follow on from a previous thread asking about speedo correction for my 105 diesel 'cruiser, as suggested by
forum members, I bought a speedo correction kit from Jaycar. I haven't put it together yet, but it looks pretty good and ought to do the job OK.
My question is, can anyone tell me where would be the easiest place to find and tap into the wire that runs between the speed sensor (on the transfer box) and the speedo? I don't really want to pull the dash apart and the sensor is all the way under the car. Somewhere in between (console maybe??) might be a lot easier. I have no idea where the wire runs but I'm hoping someone here may have done it before and can give me some hints or info.
Cheers
Gerry

Try the RED with GREEN trace wire, this wire comes of the vehicle speed sensor on the gear box.
There are 3 wires coming off the speed sensor on the gearbox----
RED with BLUE trace........From gauge fuse to vehicle speed sensor on the gearbox.
RED with GREEN trace......Output from vehicle speed sensor on gearbox to speedo.
White with BLACK trace....Speed sensor on gearbox earth.
This wire is the same colour from the vehicle speed sensor to the speedo.
