Hi,

I have a 2002 (early model) landcruiser diesel with 110K on the clock and was looking at adding a turbo to it. I wanted to know if there were any particular types or brands that are recommended and as I live at Wyong NSW, if anyone can recommend a good place for it to be done locally. If not locally than at least in a nearby area.

Also, are there any known problems with adding an after market turbo to this type of vehicle and would there be an advantage to also adding an intercooler?

Thanks.

Russell.

Ring Mick or Michael (yes two different blokes) at Turbo Glide 42847881.There at Wollongong (Russellvale, Actually). I didn't end up getting one fitted to my lux (decided to sell instead) but I found these blokes so helpful and had the time to answer all my questions I had to ask. You will get different answers from most places you ring eg whether to get water cooled or not etc. Majority of places I rang said no to water cooling on a diesel, but choice is yours. Weird thing is Turboglide will drop there warranty from 2 years to 12 months if you request water cooled, must be a reason. I know not close to you but some times its worth the travelling to get a good job done. They also have a website with prices. Depending also on whether you will need an injector service or not will obviously change the price but they will tell you all that. Regards Steve M
