Hi All, I always had a lot of sympathy for the boys and girls in the force, but in the Northern Territory lately looks like they lost the plot, just last week we had a man attempts to rob a Bank, police attend, no action taken, the man returned to the same bank the following day.
Today within the City limits a high power Car, skids for 50m before impact; car totally beyond repair, Police (girl) says speed not a factor. Fishiiiiiiiiiiii
can't figure this link biz

There would have to have been a complete lack of evidence that male was attempting to rob bank for them not to have taken any action. I certainly don't KNOW THE FACTS however, the 'suspect male' MAY have had a psychiatric issue/problem and perhaps 'escaped' from custodial care. Who knows but I bet there is a logical and acceptable explanation for their actions.
As for the 'skidding car' perhaps it wasn't speeding - perhaps it hit a patch of oil or similar.
When you make such generalised statements you really do need to ascertain some FACTS rather than just shooting your mouth off with NEGATIVE comments. I checked the NT News and found that a Police spokesperson said "....it would seem that he lost control after hitting
water on the road" and that "....Investigations into the crash were continuing."
Makes your comment of NO ACTION TAKEN BY POLICE look a bit stupid - doesn't it.
Politicians and reporters are great for committing similar mis-deeds. It's called SELECTIVE REPORTING. Very dangerous and un-healthy.

DIO
Have to ask this. You come accross as a fella that's a bit confused between the positive and the negative. The latter seems to have the upper hand at the moment.
Don't know what your tag is, but there's no value in putting a man down without a rightfull cause.
Sometimes it better for a fella to ask a few questions before sprouting off.
Hope you get my meaning.

Kim,
He'll never respond. He's a hit and run merchant.
Not sure I understand why. Most stirrers love a good bit of robust interchange, I sure do LOL.
He's got me buggered, he is a most unusual
forum participant.
See you tomorrow.
Jim.

I've taken photos of the trailer which I'll bring along.
Thanks for your kind offer, much appreciated.

Hey Bonz
I have met Doug T and this is not his style, he could never come close to being a Richard Cranium unlike DIO aka IDIOT.
The same guy tried to rob the same bank twice in 2 days without a weapon, It would seem he has the same mentality as iDIOt.
As for the car crash there has been no rain up hear since march so this creates a lot of oil and rubber build up on th roads, so if the road is wet it makes for a very slippery road, hence serious accidents.
Cheers Steve.

That's the way, believe what you read and make your own conclusions without looking at ANY REAL evidence.
Good for you...

What annoys me is the whining about not getting enough respect when there is so much of the do as I say and not as I do happening. They no longer lead by examplelike the used to when I first got a licence when they had heaps of respect. Things now like the constant breaches of the road rules for no reason other than they can and the one the other day that was driving along in front of me in his unmarked car throwing all his lolly wrappers out the window(probably thought no one would know who he was but all the locals know the unmarked cars and the radar on the side gives it away)

I am a 4x4 driver and a motorcyclist ( Hayabusa )
A few weeks ago one of the guys from the
forum i am a member on was killed on his bike. The 4 wheel driver turned infront of him turning into a
rest stop. The bike rider died at the scene
Police attended the scene and first words from the police , it was the motorcyclists fault and speed was the cause. Unfortunatly for these idiot cops there were witnesses to say the bike was just cruising
well within the speed limit - when the poilce were confronted by the witnesses as how the hell they came to the conclusion it was the bikes fault they just went quiet.
So it was the bike riders fault that he was on a straight stretch of road without an
intersection and a 4x4 driver failed to give way and crossed into his path. Just because we choose to ride one of the most powerfull and fastest production bikes on the plannet, does this mean that anything that happens will be our fault .....
yes police do stupid things , they are a law onto themselves , are rude and i have never met one that was curtious or polite.....
loosing respect for them every day that i still have breath in my body .. I have had nothing but bad experience with them - even 1 experience of having a car damaged(hit and run) , being able to id the guy that done it ... with witnesses ( id via number plate by a good citizen) - police had no interest at all , and was told they cant do anything .... WHAT THE HELL ?? not to mention this guy was straight from the pub and had about 6 beers in him in 1 hour??( also a 4x4er)

Just like to share 2 more runs ins with police i have had over the years
A few years back - i was traveling on Victoria road ( rydalmere- NSW) i was approaching the
bridge that goes over the railway line - traveling into town When some clown comes running up the
embankment from the little side road , jumps over a fence stumbles onto the road in which i have to take immediate action not to hit fool .... Guess who it was ... yup your local traffic police. he was hiding down the side street at the bottom of the
grassy hill with his hair drier - he got me for 71 in a 60 Km zone ( 50 meters further on it was 70 km zone) I commented to him that it was a very stupid move on his behalf -- No comment from him apart from asking for my license
Second was in a place called BULLYARD - Between
Bundaberg and rocky - This cop was actually Parked ON THE ROAD ( not off to the side ) and was doing speed readings with his hand held radar - now this place is in the middle of nowhere
seen the same thing in between 1770 and
bundaberg -- cop parked on the center of the road doing radar ....
and they wonder why they are disliked -- and or injured whilst doing there jobs .....
