G'day All ,
You know almost in another life I used to work on a cattle station by the name of Kamileroi Station north of the Curry heading towards
Burketown .
Whilst there I was involved in the rescue of a Cat D5 dozer owned by the station out of the
Leichhardt River not far from there after it buggared a torque converter . Anyway these days my memory is not all that crash hot at times , but I seem to remember that crossing across the
Leichhardt River was called Bluey's Crossing at the time , and had been for years , but you know I cant find any reference to it , and not having been up that way for a long time , all the roads and tracks are changed. But at the time that track was a short cut way to
Burketown and a lot of people used to use it .
Just wanted to try to find some documention of Bluey's crossing , but then again , my memory being what it is , might be on another track , any of you been up that way lately ?

Going further into the subconcious it may have been Bourky's crossing , Burky's crossing , not to sure how it was spelled at the time , but this is really got my goat , and I am determined to work it out . I was there not all that long ago ,
well it was in the early 80's when I was on Kamileroi Station ............

G'day Pete, will give you a ring later in the week.
Try this location, there is a Blueys Yard just here, maybe that's the one you want.
