noticed this in adelaide as well---moonta 15oks out 4 cents cheaper others town cheaper as well------is it because sales of diesel is larger -----lpg gas is always dearer in country up to ten cents in places

I drove from Mildura to Wagga Wagga a while back, Mildura was 186.9, Balranald Caltex was 178.9 Wagga wagga was 186.9.

I asked the bloke at Balranald how come he was so cheap and he said "well I'm doing OK" but no other B^&gger within 200 Ks is selling any fuel.

Filled up the Landcruiser this morning and paid 169.9 thinking that is cheap......how bad is that. The bloke in the fuel station said just fill up one tank mate.....it will be cheaper next week.

Hi All,
Done Adelaide to Wagga, etc a lot recently (4 times in 2 months) and the RENMARK Big W station has been cheaper than ADL by up to 14 cents a litre!
Recently travelled ADL to Ipswich and back, and outside of QLD this was the cheapest place for fuel.

I ask Renmark Woolies why this was the case, and they didn't know but I filled my tanks there.

It appears, yet again, we are at the mercy of the oil companies.

To think we travelled Oz in 2002, and dearest fuel we saw was Balladonia Roadhouse (Nullabour, @ $1.26/ litre) seems good value now!

Imagine travelling Oz on $500 a week - as we did!

Hopefully my 2 year old son's parents can afford him the same experience!

Cheers, Matt
