Early 80 Series Tyre and Wheel sizes

NUTS!

1990 80 Series GXL - came out with the 15" chrome wheels.
Can anyone tell me what the factory wheel and tyre size is?
AND is this the same wheel/tyre as 60 Series?

I had a feeling it was 31/10R15? is there an equivelant in xxx/xx/15? or am i barking up the wrong tree......(as i probably too often do)

Yep. I tried doing a search and found stuff that was close, but couldnt find a straight answer. I'll be happy with a link to one if someone CAN find it, but with the wealth of collective knowledge on this forum, im sure many people could also answer off the top of their head.

EDIT: I tried all the online 'tyre sizing guides', but they all come back with a 16" tyre for the 1990 model...???

31 10r 15 will be the cheapest option - why go something else?
unless fitting 16s which will give you a stronger tytyre

I dont want to go to 16's, but just want my rig to run standard tyres.

265x75x15 was the std size, same as 31/10r/15

Thanks mate, that will make it easier for shopping for tyres that arent in the old size format (like 31/10R15 as mentioned in previous post.)

My question is still running though, was the 60 Series the same? (31/10R15)

Someone locally was selling standard wheels/tyres off a 60 Series pretty cheap and i need to know if they are the same as the factory 80 Series. They are 31/10.5R15... So is the 10 or 10.5 the width?

60series sahara (and 62series GXL) had 15x7 chrome wheels and original tyres were Dunlop RV 10R15 which are the same as 31/10.5R15.

they look the same wheels as the early 80series, but I'm not sure about the offset.
