Thanks for all your illuminating replies :-) Thanks too to PhilG for trying to set me straight via PM.
After some deductions I came to the conclusion that I had left the inverter charging the PDA all day off the aux batt and had then left the solenoid switch ON during the night. The aux battery was drained a tad and it in turn drained the starter battery. In the mean time I had driven short distances on three or four occasions during the previous week and had moved the truck around the yard. Combine that with a very cold night..........
All's
well again after charging both batteries o'nite.
LOL
Cheers

I finally had ice on the windscreen this morning when I left for work, but I am still in shorts and SS shirt as
well LOL
Good to hear that you have been busy and sorted the batteries as
well as your sleeping arrangements.
Cheers Kev

But Kev,
To be able to wear S&T at this time of the year you have to live in some dungholes LOL.
I spent 9 years in
Townsville and I'd happily trade a couple of months of cold for six months of sweat.
Personal preference of course, the heat just doesn't do it for me.
Cheers,
Jim.

Jim,
I am currently looking for a change of scenery, I am not a big coastal fan and the
Innamincka trip has only increased my
views LOL
Just need to find a job out west somewhere and we will be on the move.
The heat is not an issue for me as I enjoy it, just the humidity can be a PITA. Plus up here never gets cold LOL
Cheers Kev
