Just a quick hello, I have been lurking on here since 2001 and thought I should join, (takes awhile for things to sink in)
my Wife Kristi and I live in
Tom Price, and do quite a bit of off- roading here locally, we have a modified 2008 70 series Ute that we love getting out and about in, planning a trip from
Tom Price To Vic in Oct/Nov via the Gunbarrel/AyersRock/
Coober Pedy on to
Mildura and then on to
Toora Vic, where we used to live, looking forward to it, hopefully diesel prices will drop a bit by then?
Take Care
Chris

Whatever the reason it took so long, please know that we genuinely appreciate your decision to join now - thank you. Did you know that we receive no funding nor recognition from the Government? This site is made by people like you, for people like you, and the "commercial" aspect of it (advertising etc) is there because we can't fund it from 2000 members alone. BTW - we have a lot of anecdotal information in our Journal for the areas you are going, so along with our Trek Notes, and
Places info may I suggest you take a peek in there too.
