Evening All,

As some of you may remember my 100 series blew as we were heading in to Birdsville a few weeks ago, well we are back on the road,a little poorer for it but up and running.i had to stick a new long motor and injector pump in it,i opted for genuine toyota stuff as it has only done 61k.as for toyotas poor excuses and service i doubt i will hear from them again after the last email.i am still waiting for the pump to come back so we can pull everything completely to bits so we can make a final determination as to the chain of events that caused its demise.thank you to all those well wishers over the past weeks telling me to keep the ol' chin up,its back up and a big smile on the dial now.cheers and many thanks Paul

Hi. I have followed your tale for the last few weeks. Glad to see your hard work has reaped rewards. Hope you now have many K's of trouble free motoring. Keep hounding Toyota, you never know your luck.

Hi Paul,
Glad that all's up and running again.
Worst part is the ruined holiday with all its inconveniences, apart from the depleted bank balance.
Suppose that the icing on the cake would be if Toyota came to the party!
cheers,
Gerry

Yep hope all is ok now, i would put all the evidece together and ram it at toyota maybe with help of consumer affairs, even something will be better than nothing.
Dont give up, or let them get away with it.

Hope you have some of your holidays left to get some camping in.

Cheers pesty

Hi Paul, glad to hear you have it back on the road. As said above I would be ringing them and hounding them, you have nothing to lose. You have paid the $$$ already so keep chasing. I'm surprised they are not willing to follow up, unusual for them. If I was you personally I would take it further unless you have done mods to the engine that would give them reasons to knock you back including regular services. Regards Steve M

TD100

Glad to hear you're mobile again mate...... keep at Toyota, you just never know.

An old boss of mine kept at Holden after my company Commodore Ute busted a crankshaft, it was a series 1 VN back in about 1992, he kept at them like a angry dog at yer ankles, and eventually they gave in. So keep at them, hassle them for all it's worth! You just never know!

Anyway, glad to hear your on the road again.

Cheers

Brian

Paul

Good one. That will be a relief for you.

Unfortunaely it has relieved your bank account somewhat. But you should recover that in no time.

Cheers
