spotted exploroz
sign on a patrol in the
carpark at the
Adelaide caravan and
camping show yesterday.
the show was ok, but a bit smaller than i hoped for (but we still manage to spend our money anyway!), still lots of people despite the weather. thought
the entrance fee was a bit steep at $10each with on pensioner rates, plus $5 for
parking, anyway we still had a good day and that's the main thing.
Chris.

Enjoyed the show, with a bit more room to view all the goodies..most at regular prices, but still some bargains to be found.
Was impressed by the New Release for
Liberty Campers. Hard Floor model for $9,999. Made in China..but super value. Certainly going to give Cub a shake up for the budget conscious.
So wonderful to visit these big boys toy shops...but mother has a knack of disappearing with the combination to her purse......

went there myself yesterday, spent five hours there and still missed out on some displays. i had a list of what i wanted to buy or look at, and your right same price as out side or dearer.
cheers shane.

im heading there tomorrow,my keycard has mysteriously dissapeared and the handbrake claims she knows nothing about it. Seriously, no real plans to spend up but interested in speaking to the blokes from diesel/gas australia.

Jezza
I went to the show on friday and spoke with the blokes at diesel/gas. Cost is $2400 after the government rebate and the conversion will save "up to 20% fuel". The gas is supplementary to diesel and not a substitute. At 20% saving you would break even at about 70,000k and the salesperson admitted the conversion is really only useful in the metro areas where gas is readily available.

As per usual, Snowys is running a 20% off sale this weekend. 15% off Oztents and Black Wolf tents too. Sounds like a better deal than the show.

No, gave it a miss. Went last February, and usually go to the 4wd show in October. I'm not a caravanner, so find theres limited interest in the mid-year show.
I'm stuggling to find anything else I need..........Just need more holidays :-))

the main thing i wanted to get at the show was a cobb cooker and for the first time (i think) there wasn't the people from cobb selling them, we could only find 1 place that had the cobbs and when i asked about it and what came with it the
young bloke who served us didn't have any idea about them or what was in them, so as it's new to us we walked away disappointed and decided to leave it for the next show and hopefully they will be there.

Yes Chris. I too am in
Adelaide.
The Ananconda catalog got delivered here today. It has the Cobb cooker on special in it. Anaconda is a Ray's Outdoors lookalike.
My copy is in the recycling so I can't tell you what price you can buy it for.
My apologies that English is my second language.

Adelaide we never get good junk mail so miss out on quite a few things, i haven't even heard of Anaconda, i'll try doing a google search and see what i can find, chris.
