IN this house most financial matters are discussed between both of us!, but Man!! don't they perform if a few bucks goes into the bundocks for a good time with the mates now and then!!!. Got to get my cunning kick sorted me thinks??.

I started up another account to stash the OT and 'spare' $$$ in for my long service leave in December - family trip planned.
Was at home checking the balance when SWMBO came in and spied the dollars - that was ok - it was the bit that said Trip Account - she mistakenly thought it was the "Boy's Trip" stash account - my talk'n was as fast as my duck'n.
Sheesh, lol,

Dont use an account,put it in a tin in a safe place and open it every 12 months.That's what I do. The missus hasn't worked out how come I've always got plenty of cash for our summer holidays away.

Hey ya Axle, start up an account and keep it from the misses or better still let her know and put your drinking money into it,
well not all of your drink dosh, just some. When you want some lolly to fix or buy things its there! If you need your emergency money it's there.
Somethings are better hidden out in the open. then no need to lie, except one little one, "i can't touch this money i'm stashing away for like one or two years"!!!
Then you have some lolly and can do what you want or take a decent holiday away and have the dollars without to much scrimping and saving!!!
I know flat broke and still flat broke and ready to shoot swmbo with her stupid carryon about cutting expenses.
Well we won't go there, her $75 dollars for haircut and colour, me w/lbb for tafe and work $79.95, her my ford laser kq that i pay for, me her old toyota corolla thats she owns, her dyson vacuum $469, me haircut $15 every 3 months, her earns more lolly then me!!!!
I pay the rent and i pay for my car she drives. so where were we?????
oh yes keep it either hidden or out in the open!!! remeber can't touch it because it is tied into the bank for 12 months or more, preferable in a high interest account!!!
