Hi everyone,
Can anyone advise me how to set a via point on the way to my destination in my NUVI 660. For example, I am at Narellan and want to travel to Hunter Valley, Nuvi shows trip up F3 to via Freemans road but I want to travel via Bucketty, my question is how can I do this before I leave
Cheers Rob

I don't think the 660 has the 'via point' option. The 760 does.

I'll stand corrected however!

Think you will find that the 760 allows multiple waypoints on the way to a destination (effectively a route) whereas the 660 only allows ONE via destination.

I have the 660 and my only major gripe is not being able to program a multi-destination route for a longer trip. Instead you need to keep entering a new destination as you get to each one.

The 660 allows one via point on the way to a destination.

The trick is to enter the final destination first and then while still navigating to that destination you enter the via destination (as an address or city or co-ordinate). When you press GO for this destination the 660 will ask if this is a new destination or a via point on the way to the current destination.

Cheers

Excuse my ignorance on the 1st reply. I have the 760 and just did a trip through NW WA. Very happy with the unit's performance in standard form. Soon I'll load shonky maps and see what happens.

Good luck.
