So after a couple of weeks at home, he's back out on the track again, showing people the wide wonders of the Outback. Not much to report as yet, but the following may be of interest to those heading to the Kimberleys.
Track conditions:
Tanami track -very good condition. Worst bit Rabbit Flat to Balgo Community turn off. Average speed of 80kph towing trailers.
Gibb River Road - freshly graded - excellent condition
Fuel:
Tilmouth Wells - $2.51 pl
Rabbit Flat - $2.71 pl
Halls Creek - $2.03 pl
Weather:
Very cold mornings - minus 2 degrees, but days are gorgeous at 26 degrees. Swimming weather!!!
