Time for the annual trip up to
Louth for the races next Saturday! For interstaters,
Louth is on the Darling downstream of
Bourke in NSW, and this year is the 50th running of the meeting.
Gundabooka Golf Challenge on Wednesday.
Fishing Comp on Friday
Friday night Calcutta and BBQ at Shindy's Inn
Races on Saturday
Band at the track on Saturday night.
Keep an eye out for the Patrol. We'll be there all weekend...

Did the full
Darling River Run a fortnight ago. The river down from
Bourke was a string a stagnant holes with lot's of green algae. Some stretches looked O.K.
Bottom line is that the river is under stress.

Travelled down through
Louth 4 weeks ago on our way to the Flinders.Road between
Bourke & Willcannia in good condition.
Those inland river towns certainly have some great history.
Enjoy the races.
