Hi all, first post, so please be gentile.
I has a 1991 Nissan Patrol, with an IMPCO 300A LPG setup on her.
I am after a guide on how to setup the 'impco' system as at the moment she couldn't pull the top of a custard going up
hill.
On petrol (unleaded) it runs fine, so i am assuming its a setup issue with the impco.
Does any one have a guide on how to set up/tune up these systems?
Thank's in advance.
Chris.

The first thing I would check is the converter, make sure it is not blocked (
water inlet / outlet) or freezing up.

take it to a gas fitter/installer, more than likely it needs a tuneup on the gas side.

Too dangerous to mess with. Take it to an authorised service centre.

OT a bit but here goes. A gas tune should only cost $60 in any case.
Some useful advice for TB42 owners on lpg......................................
1) Fit high quality spiral core leads 8mm minimum.
2) If you have a points distributor put a ignitor electronic ignition conversion in.
3) Use good plugs.
4) ensure you have a good coil,
5) If it's an auto and you tow then invest in a manual torque converter lock/unlock set up.
6) Keep your cooling system in tip top order.
Never rely on a non lpg mechanic to tune your vehicle.
