Iv'e got a 97 GQ ute, 150000kms thats got some sag in the
suspension. Been thinking about giving her a 2" lift and some 33" tires. Will that ruin the fuel efficiency? If so, can the loss be compensated some how?

I put 3"
suspension and 33" muddy's on my 95 GQ LWB wagon and didn't really notice the difference in the fuel consumption, I would suggest that, if any, it wouldn't be much
Cheers

Make little difference to the economy but you'll notice a reduction in power. Get used to it pretty quickly though and it won't really affect much.
