Been around for years. Toyota even used to (or may still does) sell them as a accessory . Used on vehicles in the snow fields.
Unusual to see one in QLD though, but I guess they would be handy in soft sand as
well

When we were up at Threadbo last year they had the same set up on some 4x4's don't remember what makes but they were running up to charlets pass (spelling).

It's not new. I have seen the same set up on series 1 Land Rovers over 30 years ago.

Would be heavy on the steering i would imagine.
Impressive tho.
not new, but definitely a nice professional setup. wonder if it limits ur top speed etc. surely you wouldnt go as fast as tyres.

Their designed to drive the Chardonnay set from one bar to the other during the snow season. They'd be a bit slow for you my son. Take you all day to get accross to
Boggy Hole where the grog was stashed....!
