I've got one of those curl up spring nylon tents. Easy to handle (when you know how). Quick, light, Can't hang much from the top though, but I use a handheld shower so it's not a problem.

EPE

Can't hang anything from top which is right IMO. Dont leave the shop without getting a lesson / practising how to fold it. It's easy but you just need help to get started.

Previously had one that had poles that crossed at the top. Poles broke (through bending not under load). Oztrail I think. It did have a really good floor detail though - central cloth(?) with gap at edges, so water dissipated at edge and your feet stayed clean.

cheers JD

Yeah!
I still got one those with the poles that cross at the top and all, great shower tent, just by the time I get it all assembled the holiday is over and its time to go home.

Now I use my son's fold up springie thing. Once you have mastered the secret of folding the sucker without it jumping back out to full size you would never go back.

After having two previous pop-up shower tents, one Oztrail and one from Anaconda, we eventually lost the plot with the last one (first one gave way quite quickly), and couldn't get it back into the bag again. It went to the tip, and we bought a Coleman one. It's bigger, stronger, doesn't pop up, but equally, is easier to fold up and get back into it's bag. It has a good floor, which is removeable if you like, and big storage pockets around the side for putting things in while you shower. Very happy now.

Cheers,

Jeannie

Coleman, single or preferably the double (toilet and shower) has an opening internal divider.
I never had the knack of folding the spring type and they are not worth the frustration, for me anyway.

The "large" size smartshade change shelter is the the best I've had so far. They came out with this bigger size a year or two ago, and it has a lot more room and folds up easier than most of the springy ones.

Oztrail and Rays have been the hardest to fold up in my experience.

I have a Coleman and while the pockets and size are great, I haven't been able to get it to go back into the bag lengthways. The bits that hold the roof up don't seem to want to go back inside the rest of the tent when packing.

Of course, this could just be me!!

We've got a couple of oztrail ones, with the poles that go around the outside. One is used over the outside dunny and the other as privacy for our shower inside (building house, living in shed).
Anyway would not recommend them for camping - they would take too long to put up, you may as well be erecting a tent! But I must say they are very sturdy and cans stand wind / rain etc, which isn't exactly imprortant for a shower tent.
