Start looking at the local markets and in the local paper, tradeing post , e-bay and the local pawn shops.
Contact the local 4x4 club and wreckers. Have a good close look at any Pajeros in the local area and see if some of your stuff has miraculously appeared.
I hope you were insured, stuff like this makes you feel like committing mayhem on scum who do this.

Hiya Greendog

Mate hang in there,as a guess you were not insured...Ive said this time and time again we as Westerners are to bloody soft, they get off time and time again when caught (whip the bastards or cut fingers orrrff)...I went through China last year and not one bloody issue and never felt there would be one either....Thats including walking down poorly lit areas too in different cities...

May pay next week to look at the local pawn shops as a guess...

Goodluck

Oh

*took the head off the Snorkel god knows what they want with that for*

Hopefully to rob a bank (head) lol Just giv the coppers permission to aim for it with the shottie !

Sorry about your loss Greendog.

Just a thought regarding insurance. I get the impression that your Pajero was in your bosses yard. If so I would check if his insurance will cover your vehicle.

Where I used to work I had to sleepover at night and I was told that if I kept my vehicle inside the grounds of where I worked, then my employers insurance would cover everything but if I parked it outside there was no protection. Clients used to get hostile and slash tyres etc. regularly so I always parked it inside the grounds hoping my bald tyres would get slashed. Ha! It never happened to me so I had to buy them myself.

Just a thought mate and I hope it all works out for you and you get brand new goodies to replace everything you have lost.

Brett

Greendog,
Like most on here, my sympathies are with you brother.
Capital punishment........................Bring it on!

I could say more, but it wont help your situation. Best keep an eye on E-bay etc., and see if the c...ts post it up there.

These A*holes are oblivious to how hard people work to get their gear. I can only hope you or the police catch these mongrels. (there might not be much left of them if you catch them first!)

Sorry to hear of your bad luck, As with all the others I feel for you, it's not only the loss it is also the inconvenience, and as for having to pay the excess I still don't see where that is fair, if the scumbags get caught (which we can only hope) they should be made to pay the excess back no exceptions, with all the loss, in an ideal world you shouldn't have to pay out anything really. Hubby and I went walking through streets in Djarkata a few years ago and didn't feel threatened in any way and as for walking the streets of Singapore, I say bring on their justice!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but there's no justice over here, it is none existant and until that changes we will be reading threads like this all the time. Keep the chin up Greendog it will all work out in the end.

Cheers

D

With you there D, " I say bring on their justice!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "

we were over Singapore last year and we were walking around with a few g's in our pocket didnt want to leave in hotel safe. The local cabbie we had said to us if any reports of sheft they shut the city either end till they find them. 3 months jail for dropping a cigi but on the ground and no chewing gum allowed full stop. The place was spotless would go again tomorrow. Humidity was a killer but everything aircon any way. Regards Steve M

Hi Stephen M, that's pretty much how we found it back in 2000,

I remember when we could leave the farm with doors of the house unlocked, keys in the ignition of vehiclesand head off to Perth for a week or so and getting home to find everything as you left it and not even thinking that it may not be. The keys were left in vehicles in case someone broke down out along our road, they could borrow it to get into town. How those days are gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!. But the memories remain.

Cheers

Gee's mate, no good at all. Unfortunately I have "been there, done that" too when my 80 series got broken into on my driveway. Luckily, my home contents insurance covered it. But what pee'vd me off more than anything was that some experienced 4WDriver did it!!! They only took 4WD related stuff and even selected out the later model Staun deflators while leaving the older model ones behind!!! Hopefully you will get "new for old" coverage.

Cheers

Hi there Greendog, what can I say except sorry to hear what happened. Low life scum, light fingered as#holes. Can thank scum like this to all the doo gooders who reckon a kick in the ar@e by the cops and there parents in the scums younger days might have prevented them from becoming the low life's they have become. It might all be insured but still a pain in the ar@e. Your still out of pocket from these low lifes as you have to pay an excess possibly two. One for the car roof to be reprayed, and in my case would be one on the house contents insurance to cover my fridge. I will certainly be keeping an eye on Ebay as I dont live any where near you. Hopefully the stuff is reconized by some one who might have read your post.

Regards Steve M

And if the scum is reading any of these replys I hope you get zapped from the fridge and thats when its on 240volt. It will stop you doing it again you low life light fingered scum. Scum thats what you are.
