Someone reckoned that there wasn't the same degree of posting (or stirring?) as there used to be. Ok here goes. Stir away !
For the first time in my life (yeah I know but..) I watched the Olympics opening ceremony. Now I'm not a great sports person in any way or shape, but suddenly the focus of the Olympics seemed clear...to bring the world together in a peaceful way once every four years. The joy on many of the participants faces was amazing.
One World, One Dream. Lots of warm and fuzzy feelings etc etc.

And then I saw the Russian tanks invading Georgia.
Putin reputedly told George W "that the war had begun". Surely not! Apparently he wasn't referring to any medal tally.

Warm and fuzzies...exit...stage left !!!

What ever you do Footy don't take your Viagra orally.
You'll have a stiff neck for eight hours.
And it's not good when you wake up with a kink in your neck.

You can get Viagra that you can put in your tea now.

It doesn't do much for your sex life, but it does stop your chocolate digestive getting droopy when you dunk it!

Its pushing 2 degrees centigrade, few snow flakes , wet grass , rounded a corner with moderate uphill and the wheels began to slip , and slip , no issues bang in the front locker , more slip, bang in the second locker more slip , its getting darker.

ON private property , no chance of assitance.

Forgot to fill the thermos flask , dam! at least I had chains , shovel, chain saw and axe.

One world , one dream , but where the hell were you all yesterday evening !

Well I wasn't out looking for anyone on private property, that's for sure...too cold.
Last time I slipped around like that was when I was a lad in an old bomb I had bought. No traction at all, and the young lady and I had to walk home, which was quite some distance. Never saw here again LOL.

Don't worry about the war George W told Putin it is not right to invade another country.

Richard
PS may be George thought it was Georgia in the US.

Could also be just another ploy to psyche the opposition for medals after all that is what matters most.
