Would like to thank all who replied to my query about sub-tank pump on my GU Patrol. All is as it should be now.I am very embarrassed to admit that I think it was caused by the main tank being close to full. All that aside I would like to thank all those who replied & that I have learnt from this little drama. Also have learnt something from all the replies.Thank you.

Rifleman,
I didn't see your original thread but I suspect I did exactly the same thing. I couldn't get my pump to work so I gave up on trying to get it to work at the time. I was just about to take the old girl in to be "fixed" when I thought I would give the pump one more go, and yes it worked, I figured out what had happened later, I felt a right goose (she didn't like it either.......).

Me too.

It's the old case of RTFM .."Read the F*&ken Manual"...

I now wait till the main is 1/2 way, then fire up the sub.

Gotta love it.

Cheers
Bucky
