Hi there all,
On the Nissan GU's there appears to be a set of rear lights that are just there for show. The left hand side has the reversing light only,
Are they set up for other countrys? And is there a kit to get them working locally.
The reason I ask is that I lost the lighting to my trailer one night & even though there were reflectors on the trailer they were covered with mud etc & no-one could see me till they were right on my tail as the standard lights are in the bumper etc.
Appreciate any commentsGet out there and use it.
Life is too short not to.
All the best...

Quite a few models and breeds are out there with the same brob.
STUPID
dont know why they do it.
Anyway, i have hooked up a few now. Behind the lense there is generaly the same base as holds the normal lights! Just the holes for the bulbs is blanked off. I have just carefully cut them out, inserted bulb holders and wired them to the lights underneath. Rip them covers off and see how you go!

Nissan also have the part numbers for the 'arab spec tail lights' and get them in from
Melbourne,
Nissan were actually cheaper than offroadshop.com.au
but offroadshop now have a wiring kit for themKeep your powder dry

I thihk we just covered this topic a little earlier!
Its to do with the ADRs and the spare wheel positon, due to the angle the lights have to be mounted down low in the bumper, making the others just blanks.
As said you can rewire them to work, but just watch you loading incase the fuse starts tripping from the current draw!
Do a search for the earlier post, it was answered quite
well there!

Yep we sure did cover this earlier, but one can't seem to wonder why you have to build a new BLANK and add lights inthe bumper rather than just leave the originals and add the bumper ones.
Now if Nissan was a Bank, I'd know the answer! So many
places to go!
So much work to do :0(
