Nuvi 760 free map upgrade

I bought a Nuvi 760 mid June with the promise of a free street navigator upgrade to 2009 maps. I finally got it downloaded as it was just released a week or so ago by Garmin. I think it was an offer that expired on June 30th 2008. After that there was an offer of $100 rebate from July 1st. Not sure if the latter offer included the free map upgrade or not. Those who bought the 760 before June 30th have until September 5th to redeem offer.

I purchased mine late June and am under the impression that I was not entitled to the $100 rebate..I did however successfully download the city navigator 2009 this week

Hi Bungarra,
I was talking about the map upgrade. The $100 offer only applied to purchases from 1st July I believe.

Do I qualify for the up grade? purchased mine on the 17/04/2008.
I have gone to the Garmin site and to map updates, when I put my serial no in it says I can buy disk/buy download, is there some where else I should be looking for the free one?
