Is it possible to put in a split rear seat into the back of the GQ, like the one from the GU?

The normal factory bench 3rd row seat in the GQ needs to be a single seat.

We have put in a fridge slide etc, and would like to have one seat beside it.

If anyone has done this before, or know how / have tips etc it would be apprecaited.

Thanks

I think it would be a HUGE task. The GQ doesn't have the same captive nuts on top of the wheel arches, to which the GU seat (outer side) would have to be anchored. Also, the floor anchor point is totally different.

The engineers would have a field day with you....sending you into a tail-spin with a million rules, regulations, ADRs and other miscellaneous excuses as to why you can'd do it.

Sorry, but good luck with it all the same.

Thanks anyway guys.
Roachie is right. The GQ bench seat folds forward and the GU split folds to the sides. GQ has nothing available to attach seats to the sides.
Thanks Toonfish for following up.
