G,Day Sir Kev,
Read in your blog you went from Wandoan to Jackson
on your way to Innaminka. Is that road suitable to take
a c/van through. Cheers Doug.

Mate, Wandoan to Jackson is all bitumen. Some sharpish gullys but they take big stuff through there all the time so you should have no problems. Not a bad road at all

G,day Happy Gutz, Thanks for your reply. When you say big stuff
i assume you mean trucks.
Cheers Doug.

Doug,

That road is sealed all the way and yes there is some (4 from memory) sharp dip through causeways. I would have no hesitations in taking a full sized van through that way. It sure beats travelling all the way to Miles to head west.

The dips are marked with minimal warning time but with towing the van you should not be at a speed to be caught unawares.

Cheers Kev

Like Kev said, you won't have a problem. A lot of rig trucks and such moving around but you will be okay

I would also not recommend taking an on road only van from Taroom through to Roma until they have finished the work to fully seal the road. It still has a few crappy sections that are rutted and cut up from traffic when it rains.

Cheers Kev
