I have the Hema Navigator (which I purchased from the ExploreOz shop) and also a few Garmins and I much prefer to use the Garmin when I am in the desert. Just my preference I guess.

There have been several posts in the Forum on this subject which a search should find.
Cheers

Just used our Hema navigator out in the centre. It was excellent. Still coming to grips with some of the bells and whisltles.

Kev has it got every thing programmed into it, e.g both
Oziexplore and Hema maps or do you have to buy the disks and load them in your self.cheer's GREENDOG

We are officals on The Great Endeavour Rally. We travel a lot of out back tracks. As pictured this goat track was on the Hema. The wheel tracks in the distance was ours. There wasnt any in front. Just a verbal explanation of the rocky out crops and river crossings. What a fat time. I must add it didnt tell us which way to go just that we were on it. It was girl power up front with the eagle eyes.
