Hi, not sure if anyone can help. We have recently purchased a Lemair washing machine for our (older) caravan. We hope to fit it in the bathroom (instead of having it in the annex), but we are not sure of it needs to have some sort of 'stabilisers' fitted for travelling. When we purchased it, it had foam packing ( or stabilisers) for the bowl, and underneath. When fitted into a caravan, does it need to have anything to stop the bowl shaking around while travelling?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Sandy

Hi Sandy

Just as a safe guard, fold a couple of towels thick enough to slip over
the rim of the bowl opposite each other, that will stop any movement.

Cheers

Hi Sandy Mac,
We have the same washer fitted in our caravan. We kept the foam insert out of the bowl and fit it back in before we travell. This keeps the bowl from moving and was what the supplier recommended. Remember, the washer is fitted with this item for transportation by the manufacturer so there must be a reason for it. Great little washer by the way. Must have paid for itself twice by now.

Yes, we have kept the foam insert. Thanks for the info.. Yes great little machine. I am quite smug when able to wash while others are waiting in line for the machines in the ablution block.........Sandy
