After trying alot of different brands on my 75 series Trayback, i thought i would give Ironman a go as they were cheap and i will be selling car soon anyway. The shocks Monroe shocks were flogged out and needed replacing though the springs were still good i wanted a complete package. Was quoted from $1800-$2800 for Old Man Emu and Tough Dog kits, and yet i spotted the Ironman kit on Ebay for $1100 with free freight. I was very sceptical at first about the low price but thought bugger it its going soon so i want have to deal with it.

After just returning from a 12 day trip up the Gibb River Road and all around my favourite tracks and fishing spots near Wyndham (my old home) i am over the moon. I am totally amazed at the transformation of the ride and handling. I have never found it a comfortable car on road or off, and neither has the better half, but the whole trip we just kept reminding each other of how good we have it now. Even though the road was in excellent condition we tested it out on some really rough tracks around home and it never faulted.

I really really recommend Ironman to anyone but especially 75 series owners as it has truly transformed the vehicle in alot of ways. Even the drive home (1100kms to Broome) was a piece of cake, but it used to really test your lower back and arms. I have no affiliation or connection with the brand just a really happy camper, save your money and get something that works is my opinion. I have been through them all, and if i havent my mates have, and none of us have ever felt a 75 ride like this not even with parabolic springs or air bags. Please take my word for it and do yourself a huge favour. You really wont regret it.

Sounds like it must be.....NEARLY as good as OME. but if the original setup is buggered then anything new is going to impress,

Nah mate, it leaves OME in there dust. Had OME and the shocks only lasted 2 years. Definitely overpriced, only shocks and springs havent tried in 75 series including work cars is the Tough Dog range so i have tried just about every combo imaginable. Ironman are the only ones know what there doing in my opinion.

When I was test driving Jacks Steve, I drove one with a 2in lifted ironman suspension. Personally I did not like it, far to hard for my tastes. But it may have been and extra heavey duty.
Cheers Pete

I have had Ironman all round for a few years and have done Cape York 3 times on it. All good. Its not like I take it easy either. Have bent the chassis one year then broke my HR off the next. Suspension has been great.

Cheers

Phill

P.S I know why you love yours Shannon!!
