We go after King George whiting at Smoky Bay - just remember November can be really windy (who am I fooling? anytime can be pretty windy). Haven't investigated any further than that - other friends go snapper fishing off Whyalla - and as for oysters, Streaky, Smoky and Coffin Bays are the ones I know - yum.

Some years back, we did a fishing boat charter out of Ceduna, with a guy named Perry. Had a brilliant day - he taught us everything we needed to know about King George Whiting, and we came back with a heap.

Hard to go past Locks Well and Sheringa Beach for Salmon, and Coffin Bay area for just about anything. Believe Fowlers Bay area pretty good too but I have little experince that far up.

Bob,

Try Point Drummond for school salmon off the beach in the right season. They can be seen from the sand dunes.

Its also quite good for bush camping. If more facilities are required, Elliston Caravan Park is the best in the area (at least I think so).

We stayed at the one at the southern end of the bay Christmas 07. The one by the jetty also looked quite good but haven't stayed there.
