Ok need a bit of help, I can get a Detroit Locker from the states for a bloody good price. Problem is I am having problems confirming the Detroit Pt no I need for my Australian Hilux

It’s a 96 RN105 2.4 Petrol Hilux.

Detroit Lists 2 Lockers, both the same except one has a Note (Fits 45mm Hub bearings)
Can anyone confirm what Locker I need?

(Toyota 8” 79-95 all models) Detroit Locker 187SL61A (45mm Hub Bearings)

(Toyota 8” 87-88) Detroit Locker 187SL61B

Now the First would be the logical option but the Hub bearing's has got me confused (Perhaps this locker also fits the front diff of another 4WD Toyota?) all I know is I don’t want to get a locker shipped from the U.S and not having it fit!!

Cheers.

Is there an Australian distributor for them? If so id call them to find out the correct part number to suit your model, and then order it from the States?
I assume Detroit's part numbers are the same over there as sold here??
I would say American Auto Parts (Rare Spares) at Homebush or Beverly Hills NSW would sell Detroit lockers and so hopefully should be able to help you too.
Cheers.
