Hi,
I would prefer a safari because the head can turn backward without hitting the roofline like the others do.
In dusty conditions i used to turn my
snorkel head around but cant now with my Nissan type.

I agree, I also prefer the ones that sit proud, not flush with roof at the top of the windscreen.
Last year during the floods in Gippsland our work Pajero was going through bonnet deep flood
water on bitumen, a Patrol was coming the other way, both doing sensible speeds with bow waves, but when the Patrol's bow wave hit the Paj the
water went over the roof. It would have been expensive with a flush mounted
snorkel head.

Yeah, thanks guys. I thought the airtec also swivelled but if not then the safari is the way to go; & yes; a K&N was a definite also. Xpensive buggers though, arent they.
