HI Everyone,
I am thinking of buying one of these:

The tube capsules type in the grease gun don't seem to last vey long and I always find they are messy to put a new tube in. Is this a better alternative. Any comments or experience appreciated.
Cheers,
GPM

GPM,
Have used a couple of the MacNaught units similar to this one, but was some years ago, and I hope they've improved. Bit hard to see just how this one works, at least how the grease control works. Does it have a trigger assembly?
Would need a good floor in your shed.
In another life, we were using earthmoving gear, and found the cartridges the way to go, especially as we were climbing over the machine to service it, twice a day. If you keep the g'gun clean, it's not too bad a job. One of our offsiders used to store the 'guns in a sealable bucket, to keep the dust off the gun. Just buy a good quality hand cleaner is the go.
It's a lot of grease to have, but no doubt cost would be cheaper than cartridges.
Hooroo,
Bob

Use them at work all the time, but they are just the lid type which attach to 20kg pails. One stroke of the pump will put out alot more grease than a standard cartridge sized grease gun.
Still gets messy when changing pails but you do it far less often.
Your title says "High Pressure". I have used standard and high pressure grease guns. High pressure grease guns were to lock outrigger bearings to spindles (can't remember exact pressure range) HP guns cost an absolute packet. Hand held gun $800+.
If you've got the room and you do a lot of greasing then this will be ideal.
Cheers

Thanks for your comments guys.
I am not sure how it is high pressure - thats the description used in the ad. I pressume it is hand pumped in some way to build up pressure. This one is certainly not in the $800 league.
But I think it would make life easier as I have a number of
vehiclesand two small tractors and seem to be always buying cartridges.
Cheers,
Glen
