So many trucks head up over the
Toowoomba range then through Millmerran (spelling??) to Goondy. They tell me it is generally flater and less fuel used. Not much difference in K's if you go via
Warwick or
Toowoomba so take your pic.
Cheers, Trevor.

ive been both ways the road through
Toowoomba is the better way wider roads and a lot less hills.most coaches go this way, watch your speed which ever way you go there is always radars.

You could go to Gatton , Then take old highway for about 5km or so and turn left to Clifton up through
Heifer Creek. Road is windy, scenic and has lesser gradients. Two lanes bitumen.
Once through the range hit
Warwick -
Toowoomba hwy then go left and then right to Clifton and down through Leyburn to Goodiwindi.
Not a straight highway run but very scenic, less trucks and gentle gradients for towing.

As Alan H said,
A much nicer drive than either of the others. Nice pies in gatton and room to stop for a break. Easy drive even with a 18' van.

Either way
the Gap and The Twba Range are High Ways. Dam cold and windy up here the last few days. You will have a head wind. Quickest is
Toowoomba not in peak hour but.
