Hi All,
Further to my thread 59491 I have located a tractor in NSW that suits my requirements. But I need someone with tractor knowledge to check it out for me mechanically and hydraulics etc. Can anyone recommend someone in the Penrith area who is knowledgeable and experienced with tractors to do an inspection for me. They would need to travel to tractor location on farm. I am happy to pay for service but I am in Queensland and need someone local (at least in first instance).

You could try a fella who i indirectly know of, His name is Doug Smith and owns Outwest Trading Post, on Londonderry rd, Londonderry which is fairly close to Penrith. His business is buying and selling old earth moving machinery and has a few mechanics fixing them up.
