If you are over 50 yrs old try Aust Pensioners, API. CIL are also good as they specialise in caravans but are not the cheapest. Most insurers policy's are much the same I have found but prices vary quite a bit. I think you will find most company's cover Australia wide, some even cover New Zealand as well. Regards, Nav.

Alan,
We have recently been through the same process. After contacting just about every company that supposedly offers van insurance, we discovered that, in reality, most insurers don't know anything about the product they are offering. This type of insurance seems to be better sourced by specialised companies such as CIL. They may not be the cheapest, but they know their product.
