Has anyone purchased a 14 pin to standard OBD11 plug adapter? I have a ScanGauge2 meter which I used on my last vehicle and would love to get it working on my GU 4.2 TDI.

Hi Keith,
If you have a late 2003 or later intercooled 4.2GU, your only option for diagnostics is NIStune using a PLMS interface. This is PC based software that uses Nissans Consult II diagnosis system. Your car isn’t OBD-II compliant, so your ScangaugeII is useless for it.
I’m using NIStune with a PLMS interface on my 2002 3.0Di and it works very
well. I have tried it on a 4.2 with the
grey 14 pin socket and found it works just as
well.
If you need any more info, you can find some
HERE.
