IT WORKS!! spent most the weekend farnarkling in the garage, i have to fine tune all the bits and pieces, but it works a treat!
Thank you all neasayers, the most important thing to do is to slow down the current to the tyre pump [12volt] i did this by an old dimmer switch just for rough now as the pump and air was going off like a frog in a sock!! once you get the air flow [speed] down it works a treat i used my wifes wool wash as it was low suds an a few old work t shirts aftre a while ther was cicirlar motion in the clothes from top to bottom but stopped when i put more in lots and lots of air flowing through the clothes
i ad them in for 15 minutes and rinsed again some stains didnt come out but i think they wwere already there
Me and my B.I.L ARE HAVING A BEER AND BARBY TO CELEBRATE so we SHOULD have some serious dirty clothes to test again will continue to fine tune
thanks again M.R.M.W

mannrivermudrwestler,

Thats great.

When you get it finalised, we want pictures and a full set of technical specifications posted on here so we can all be copy cats.

Cheers,

Cruiser

PS, does your name imply that you live somewhere near the Mann River ?

that's fantastic m.r.m.w,
good to see you took some of the ideas forwarded in the posts into consideration....lo suds soap.

Sounds like it doesn't need much air to operate which is a good thing for the battery life eh.
I too was wondering if you were from around Jackadgery way or if you are a maybe white water racer on the Mann River...

Ok now we need some pics or even better a youtube vid :)

I dont know much about electrics but doesnt lowering the voltage hurt the electric motor, make them run hotter?.

I though an air regulator might be better and let the electric motor run normal speed.
