If TV is a MUST have, don't waste your money on an expensive unit. You can get complete set-up for less than $500.00 that will do the job. Link

I found a company in Vic / Qld excellent to deal with, helpful on the phone and speedy mail order at http://www.satplus.com.au

You can get a 12 / 240 Strong decoder for around $180, a REMOVABLE arm dish for approx $100 LNB cables tripod etc another $100 or so & you are away, tv anywhere.

Assuming you have a smallish LCD tv then it runs on 12v so no need for an inverter.

Regards

Neil

In answer to your question about setting Sat TV up....once you have done it once or twice, you are an expert !!!

There has only been ONE place I have not been able to set it up and that was only because there was a dirty big tree next to my caravan site and the only place it did work was when I had the dish
on the roadway. Normally it takes me no more than 5 minutes...plug in cable, set up dish, point dish until I get signal. Too easy

If you buy one, get the bloke to set it up for you as that helped me out heaps.
