Hi all, I have just updated one of the dev systems to Firefox 3.0.1 and have tested that the site works correctly with this new browser. So you can safely upgrade your Firefox to 3 and gain the even better performance that seems to have been built into this new version. ExplorOz is has never run so fast.

The 3.0.1 version is available here - Firefox

Hi guys,
I've run FireFox 3.0.1 since it's release and haven't had an issue with ExplorOz at all.
Didn't know there where issues.
I'm slowly weaning myself of Microsoft crap.
Thanks for the update Guys.

Thanks Jon,

There were no issues I was just letting people know that we fully support this browser and have tested the site with it. I try to test most new browsers when they come around however I never tell anyone about it. This time I decided to mention it and post a link to this browser which certainly seems to be the fastest browser I have seen on the market.

No worries David,
Appreciate you letting ppl know, not many sites do that. It must be an enormous job to stay on top of things. There's always something new out that you got contend with.

Great Job guys.

I agree I just wish I could get the fonts to look as nice as IE does thou. The IE7 font management is really nice and makes the pages look much cleaner. I have found that FF like odd pixel sized fonts but there is more to it than that. Anyway yes I work with FF a lot of this time because it has great tools for developers (such as firebug).

Have a good one.

Have installed Firefox, am enjoying the speed increase and some of the other benefits it has.

My only hassle is the typing for the "original" post in a thread sits 'out-side' the allocated box, until you click on 'post reply' then it goes back into the box as it's designed to do.

Wondering what the fix is?

Nope, done that and it still remains grrr

The exact message remains intact, it is just shifted to the right of the designated message box and spills out over the blue border, it fills about only half of the white box.

When read from any other position it is in the correct place inside the assigned white box.

The 'PRINT' and 'FONT' icons are also both placed way out in the blue border area at all times.

have deleted firefox today as it "crashed" their words, not mine, and refused to deliver me to some of my favourite sites
will look into it again when I have time

well have to ask, does anyone else have a similar problem with the 'original' post as it shows on their system, showing up similar to the picture I have posted above ?
