Has anyone travelled the Ullawarra Cobra Gifford

hey mate
was on that road a couple of weeks ago going from Kennedy Ranges to Mt Augustus.
there are some patches of corrugations but by and large the road is in fairly good conditions.
i think all of it passes through station country so with regards to
free camping - you'd hv to talk to the various stations. Around Cobra there's
Edithana Pool and Wanna Pool (i think that was the name) which are both good spots. We were told by some other travellers that
camping was allowed at Edithana but when we stopped at Cobra to ask for directions, the guy there said there was no
camping at Edithana but we could swim. Both pools mk great swim spots.
Also from Kennedy we made several river crossings, all of which were dry EXCEPT for TWO and i cant remember which roads they were on (i think it was the
Lyons river) but both had great spots around the bank and looked like great
places to stop overnight.
hope this helps
cheers
Jeelan
