I give up, I know there are a zillion 1999 - 2005 original 16"
wheels for a Hilux 4x4 IFS sitting in garages when people bought 4 shining cool alloys for their rigs, all i want is a set of 4 but bugger me they seem to have all disappeared.
I probably should have put this in Trader but I couldn't help myself.
I have tried tyre shops located around toyota dealers, I have tried gumtree sites, wreckers, parts specialists, ebay, etc etc
If anyone knows of any pls let me know. Preferably
Brisbane so I can pick them up.

I have an 03 Hilux with original split rims, might be inerested in a swap as long as they are not alloy rims and there is no cost to me.

You picked my problem, 15" alloys on 4
wheels and a 16" steel as the spare, I'd rather go 4 x 16" steels than get one more 15" alloy.

Have you tried the Toyota dealers themselves. I picked up a new (second hand) one from my dealer for my Prado. They come out of the factory with the steels and the dealer puts the alloys on and keeps the steels. I paid $40 from memory.

Thanks Tessa
I have tried but they'll only sell me alloys for a fortune, I think it's cause
mine is not a current model.

The Hilux 16' split rims are identical to the L/C 16'' ditto 6 stud. (16x5.50)
Should be heaps around, and cheap enough.

ta, will look into that, can you let me know which model LC pls? I thought LC
wheels were 16x8 so I stand corrected, 16x15.5 sounds good to me.

80 Series Standard models should have 16" Splits inthat size.
Cheers Kev

Might not help much but I have one split rim with tyre that was on an '85 Hilux. There are 3 or 4 spare tyres too, a couple have some life and a couple are only good for homers.
Probably doesn't help much?

That's good!!
If anyone else wants a spare for their ute or maybe a trailer, give me a yell, I'm needing the space!

Hiya Porl
The original rims Toyota bought out on the Hilux were 15 inch,Now another thing to take into consideration is 4x4 tyres in 15 inch are considerably cheaper than there larger counterparts..
Well that's what i found a few months back
Just my .5 cents worth
Cheers

Well my hilux service book and original handbook says they are 16" so I guess they must have changed them before the lN167R.
I have just found in trader
wheels of a 2008 - 16", split rim steel, they look the goods.

options options options I suppose. I heard my truck, bought six months ago, came factory with a 52L diesel
tank, I would have died if I'd bought one with that, never thought to check, luckily the first owner took the option of the larger 66L
tank, phewww.

I have 4 16" tojo rims off a 90's 4Runner, not splits. They look a bit like LC rims. Yours if you want them, free. But they are in SA. If anyone else wants them they are there.

Hi, I am in
Brisbane and have seven 16 inch steel split rims off a Landcruiser Troopy (all with just roadworthy Desert Duellers) if you (or anyone else wants them).
