I found a useful program on Vista that's very handy taking sections of anything displayed on the PC screen , I have only recently found it , maybe some of you other people who like playing around with phot's didn't know it was there too.
Find it in "All Programs" / "Accessories".
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Use Snipping Tool to capture screen shots
You can use Snipping Tool to capture a screen shot, or snip, of any object on your screen, and then annotate, save, or share the image. Simply use a mouse or tablet pen to capture any of the following types of snips:
Free-form Snip. Draw an irregular line, such as a circle or a triangle, around an object.
Rectangular Snip. Draw a precise line by dragging the cursor around an object to form a rectangle.
Window Snip. Select a window, such as a browser window or dialog box, that you want to capture.
Full-screen Snip. Capture the entire screen when you select this type of snip.
After you capture a snip, it's automatically copied to the mark-up window, where you can annotate, save, or share the snip.

Your never too old to learn,
and they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

Louie
You do have to save the captured file and then upload it to a image data base.
I use photo-bucket.

Derek / Louie
I just save the snipped section to the desktop for use here, if I wanted to save a good photo from the web I wouldn't use Snipping tool unles I only wanted part of the photo, other than that with the car photo's I download they straight to the car/year folder on the hard drive.

Strewth Doug: a 'Snipping Tool'?
Sounds dangerously like a hybrid of Peter Kundall x ?Religious Butcher.
The eyes
water.
Regretably,
Richard.

Rod if you put your curser on the scissor icon in the task bar and left click on the mouse it will change the cursor to a pencil.
You can then draw around whatever you want (Free Hand) on the screen and then paste it to what ever document you want such as an email.
Or if you shift and click on the scissors you can then drag the copy area around whatever it is you want to copy and paste.
If you right click on the scissors it will give you the menu with settings etc.
Have a play whilst you can use paint to do simmilar this is so handy and convenient.
Easy to use.

I loaded
mine to the desktop.
Just double click and it should run and stick the icon on the task bar.

Just another little hint, make a shortcut for it and then drag it into the quick launch bar , then you do,t have to go looking for it when you want it, and don't have to close the open page.
